Please be mindful or local and state laws when foraging at locations. Some of these locations are “no pick” and MMH students will respect those trying to protect nature. At these areas you should only take pictures and leave no trace of your adventures within the park.

Mushrooms are growing all around us, whether you're living in a bustling city with a park nearby or in the country with your own woods. In Michigan there are around 30 different edible mushrooms that are found in all the seasons of our great state.

You eat wild-foraged mushrooms at your own risk. We cannot control what you pick and shove into that face-hole of yours. What we can control is the quality of education you receive while watching our content. Safety is our primary concern, always know what you are eating through biological characteristics, spore print, expert opinion, and microscopic features or chemical features. That being said our default ruling is:
when in doubt, throw it out.
