My name is Andrew. I gave up climbing the corporate ladder in my Marketing career to hunt for mushrooms in the woods. It was the best decision of my life.

I'm a state certified Mushroom Identification Expert (apr.2018) and I have over 6 years of experience in education. I have led many hunts throughout Michigan, training whole classes of children at the For Mar Nature Preserve’s annual bio-blitz (2018/2019) and even taught my 90 year-old grandmother when I visited.

I've struggled with poor diet, lack of exercise, and depression. Being in the woods changed all that. Now, I have a relationship with the food I eat, a desire to be healthier, and a tool to fight back against depression.

I hope to speak to each and everyone one of you to share my passion that is also my profession.
